Tata Motors has launched the all-new Harrier in India for an introductory price of Rs 12.69 lakhs which goes all the way to Rs 16.25 lakhs (ex-showroom) and is available in 4 variants – XE, XM, XT, and XZ and will be available only with the diesel engine.
Built on a platform obtained from the company’s Coventry-based subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover, Harrier marks Tata’s entry into a segment that is dominated by the likes of the Jeep Compass, Hyundai Creta, Hyundai Tucson and Mahindra XUV500.
The Tata Harrier is 4598 mm long, 1894 mm wide and 1706 mm high. Wheelbase on the new Harrier is 2741 mm while the ground clearance of the SUV comes in at 205 mm.
